I am the administrative assistant to the Four Diamonds Executive Director.
Why is the partnership between Four Diamonds and THON important?
The extraordinary relationship between PSU THON students and Four Diamonds patients/families is magic. Many have tried to explain it; many have tried to replicate it. The money THON raises for Four Diamonds is tremendous. Without the money, Four Diamonds would be unable to provide the world-class, best-of-the-best services and treatment to Four Diamonds families; and, the groundbreaking research to find a cure.
What is your favorite memory?
ONE of my many, many “favorite” memories of the thirteen THONs I’ve attended is entering Rec Hall to witness my FIRST THON. It changed my life (an “I pity anyone who isn’t me” moment)!
What is your dream for Four Diamonds and THON over the next 40 years?
To find the cure, and dance in celebration.
